When the Student is Ready, the Teacher will Appear!

Our mission is to provide high quality, inclusive literacy services including tutoring and mentoring in the following Adult Basic Education courses and skill areas in order to serve as a bridge for any student learner pursuing their GED but need stronger skills in the following areas in order to qualify for Arkansas Northeastern College's Adult Education Program:

Reading/Writing

English Language Learning (ELL)

Financial/Money Management

Computer Literacy

Health Awareness & Literacy

Interviewing & Job Skills

Our services are entirely free of charge and will be tailored specifically to the needs of the adult learner. Our tutors are well trained and passionate about the opportunity to serve others in offering this basic human right, potential economic freedom, family values to any resident of Mississippi County that is over the age of eighteen (18).

You are never too old to learn.

All our tutors are volunteers, but curriculum, testing, office supplies, training, and student services aren't free. 

$10 can help us assess a student, to be sure we're meeting their individual learning needs

$25 can help provide much-needed curriculum

$30 can sponsor a tutor in the training workshop

$50 can provide on-going student and tutor support
